Goals (Personal & Professional): Kristin Broccio
Education and Career Goals
Once I have completed my education, I plan to move forward with taking my CCA and CCS-P exams and begin my job search for an entry-level medical billing/coding position in an outpatient office setting. After establishing myself in this career, I plan to continue my education to study environmental science in pursuit of my dream career as a plant pathologist. I chose to become a plant pathologist for the same reason I chose to become a medical biller- for my passion to help others. My goal as a plant pathologist is to help improve plant and crop sustainability in tough climates and develop cures for plant diseases to improve the life spans of these plants and prevent them from being destroyed by the elements. This research can help prevent food shortages and inflated prices on things people are accustomed to in their diets, and so much more.
